On Your Way

OKOFUNK was born as Okan with Turkish roots in Germany (Cologne) and grew up there.
As he was a child he grew up with pop, break dance and hip-hop music in the 80s.
At the beginning of the 90s he was influenced from Cologne, Berlin, Detroit and Chicago electro/techno/acid and house music.
End of the 90s he had few own small parties which he organized with his closest friends and played also in small events for a short time.
After a long break, he started producing music at the beginning of 2018 and also released ca. 20 tracks on major platforms and some on the labels @midtownhousenyc @blackriotrecords @blurrecords_ao @saltedmusic and @moodlabswitzerland .
His DJ Mixes was aired at Radios like @radioelectronicajena (DE) @mdlbeast frequencies (KSA), @ibizaglobalradio (ES), @radiodeep_net (CH), @whitelabelradiooff (FR), @redroomsessionsindia (IN) and @night-swim-radio (US). Since january 2022 he joined the @radioelectronicajena Team, where he played every month new and unreleased music.
The music preferences are between House, Deep House, Soulful House, Funky House.
