In today's episode, I'm talking with Steve Phillip, founder of The Jordan Legacy Foundation. Not long ago, I came across Steve's profile on LinkedIn and felt instantly connected to him and his son's story. Unfortunately, mental health and suicide affects millions globally, and to provide some context, one person takes their life every 40 seconds.
This story is one of a loving father and family who have made it their life's mission to reduce the frequency of completed suicides by improving mental well-being in society and business.
Jordan's story gives us perspective on what needs to change and provides guidance on how we can help change the outcome. I believe we can all individually make a difference if we educate ourselves, and it starts by talking about it and sharing stories like this.

In today's episode, I interview Linda Easto, the founder of Hopeless to Happy. Her organization helps families recover from the trauma they go through when a loved one becomes addicted to drugs or alcohol.
Many shy away from talking about addiction, and I'm grateful that Linda has shared her and her sons story; it gives hope that there may be light at the end of what can seem like a very long and dark tunnel.
If you would like to know more about how Linda's foundation can help you please see link below.

I had the pleasure of speaking with World-Renowned Sculptor and holocaust survivor Maurice Blik. We talk about his time at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, but then we get into his remarkable life journey that followed through to today, including how art has played an integral role throughout all stages of his life.
His words and experiences are lessons of someone with fearless determination. What is very clear is that his time, loss, and experience in Bergen-Belsen has not defined him. He is a true survivor and continues to educate and create sculpture with purpose, which you can see in his work or when you read his book (Art of Survival). His sculpture shows strength and courage, and quite clearly, so does the maker.
Maurice Blik's sculptures are not only a celebration of life but also an everlasting legacy that will carry his and his family's story for future generations to come.

In today's podcast, I interview Paul Chambers, Co-Founder of The creative mental health charity - PoetsIN.
I'd heard great things about Paul and the Charity, and I was intrigued to understand how he and his co-founder Sammi came to create such a life-changing charity.
Paul is very open and honest about his mental health journey, and unfortunately, many of us will find this conversation very relatable.
If you think you may have a mental health illness, Paul provides some great advice on reducing the symptoms of mental illness. Anyone can access PoetsIN, and you will find some great wellbeing packs for adults and young children on their platform.

In today's episode, I speak with Author Carolyn Hobdey. We talk about relationships, fertility struggles, menopause, and how she quickly realised she had to find a way to rebuild her life after losing everything around her.

Today you will hear Part two, of Ryan Nurses story; he talks about recovery, severe life-threatening depression, and finding his happiness within. I'm honestly amazed every time I speak to Ryan, and I love his philosophy and outlook on this precious gift we have called life.
A reminder from this episode
"The graveyard is one of the wealthiest places on this earth. Just imagine all of those undiscovered, unused talents, skills, and abilities that cease to exist. All those would have, could have, should have's that the world will never have exposure to. I want to see what life looks like if I don't give up. And I believe that everyone should do the same"
As always take care and lots of love

One of the most underrated secrets to any success is to start before you're ready. Today I'm going to tell you a story about how I had a couple of brilliant ideas back in 2013. Yet, I failed to start the one that scared me the most because there were doubters who told me I was bat shit crazy and that combined with self-doubt meant it was a non-starter.
I will talk to you about how not starting with an idea has fundamentally cost me millions, and to date, to be precise, the person who did start that company now turns over 474 million dollars and was one of Europe's fastest growing tech company's ever.
Yes. Ouch.. I'm also going to tell you how I found myself five years later, consulting with the company I wish I'd started.
