💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: God made it so CLEAR in the Garden of Eden: Disobedience leads to death! "Once Saved /Always Saved" (OSAS) IS FALSE DOCTRINE! WE ARE NOT ALWAYS "SAVED" IF WE DISOBEY! If you believe you have "eternal security" while willfully sinning, you have effectively been DECEIVED! Lord Jesus commands us NOT to LET ANYONE DECEIVE YOU AND LEAD YOU ASTRAY! This dangerous doctrine flatly contradicts Scripture, and it is commonly used as a smokescreen to justify sinful lifestyles. In other words, “once saved, always saved” appeals to the most carnal leanings of our humanity. It gives false legitimacy for sin, false comfort to sinners, and builds a pseudo-biblical barrier between countless sinners and repentance.
If deception was not a concern, why did Lord Jesus take great pains to exhort and warn us about deception and being deceived? He warned us not to believe liars and their false claims about who He is and His doctrine. The Bible shows us in Matthew 24 that DECEPTION is a key indicator that Christ’s return is soon and that the end is near. Sadly, this will also be the time when people who professed Christ, are now repelled by their association with Him and will fall away from Him.
Adherents to the false doctrine of OSAS oppose Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 24 that it’s not possible to lose one’s salvation and one would never fall away from Jesus if they were truly born-again! Well, we know that’s simply not the case, because Lord Jesus was not referring to the false convert, He was talking about those who WERE FOLLOWING HIM initially. The Bible teaches that: “3 For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold, 4 and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable]” (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
People's salvation is lost when THEY THROW IT AWAY as if it isn't precious enough to keep working out. THEY TRAMPLED "underfoot the blood of the covenant that bought them!" THEY ALLOWED their flesh and the "things in the world," we are commanded "not to love," to have their way in their rebellious lives. THEY CHOSE to return like the dog who goes back "to their vomit!" God's Word is true: "Be not deceived. The unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God." And He was talking to the Body of Christ because professing Christians are deceived to think God's grace is their gravy train to the sinful life and the Kingdom too!
**BE NOT DECEIVED BY THOSE WHO ARE PUPPETS FOR THE DEVIL!**
