Publisher's Summary:
Writer Imogen Ashen didn't mind at all that during her childhood her gypsy mother Soleda would disappear for weeks on end. Her devoted grandfather George was more than happy for his granddaughter to stay with him at 22 Montanella Street. It was in his cottage with her feet dangling from a kitchen stool that Imogen first began to tell the stories. Vivid stories about horses and promises, ducklings and noblemen.
Many years later Imogen inherits the cottage and she and her husband move in. She unpacks quickly and settles down to work, excited to be telling stories in the cottage again. But for the first time in her life she is struck with a solid case of writer's block. Two black kittens appear on her windowsill every morning and she quickly becomes besotted with them, and they with her. When little Tsuki and Taiyo aren't curled up on Imogen's lap, they're scampering through the cottage or following her around the rose garden. The curtains close on spring, summer blooms, and still not a word has been written. "What would I do without you two?" she asks her furry companions.
If she only knew....
Once upon a Path explores the power of intentions as it flows from present to past and back again. A gentle yet powerful reminder that all things are connected.

Beautiful journey
Really loved this beautifully written tale which I devoured in one sitting! An insightful story of the journeys people take and the interconnected nature of souls and life. I finished this heartwarming story feeling light and very hopeful. Looking forward to the next book!!
Ps if you are new to this style of story and unsure what to expect, it's a beautifully woven tale of different lives and spans generations. Although very different books, if you enjoyed the Alchemist then I believe you'll love this!
Wonderfully Written
It's rare to read a story that seems to take place in the authors mind...flitting from time period to time period but even though the characters change they're lovingly the same soul. First time I have read something like this book. Very glad I did.
Soulful
The connections between souls, be they human or animal, encased in reincarnation, was lovely. A good, albeit short, read. Enjoyed.
Wonderful book!
Highly recommend this beautiful book about soul connections. Its a story about past lives and how souls recognise one another. It's an easy read but will leave you wanting more. Happy reading! â
