Please turn in Bibles in your Bibles to John 13:34-35

“A new command I give you: LOVE ONE ANOTHER. As I have loved you, so you must LOVE ONE ANOTHER. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you LOVE ONE ANOTHER.”

Your Priority: Connecting or Achieving

Connecting: It’s all about relationships

Achieving: It’s all about accomplishments (ref. Genesis 1:1, 6, 9, 12 etc. 2:18b)

Why did God create mankind? He enjoyed community enough to want to share and expand it

(ref. Genesis 2:24)

CHALLENGE:

Notice people: Ask- “What might God be doing in their lives?”

Pray for them: Ask God to show you what He might want you to do to bless them

Would You Like to be a Part of God’s Family?

1. God loves you and wants you in His family

His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing

us to Himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave Him pleasure. Ephesians 1:5 NLT

2. We are sinful and separated from God (ref. Romans 3:23, 6:23)

3. Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for our sin (ref. Romans 5:8, 15:3-6, John 14:6)

4. Each of us must receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

(ref. John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, Luke 24:46b)
