Jesus demonstrated his love through the crucifixion, which we saw at Easter. Now, he wants us to demonstrate that love for one another. That was his message, as well as the message of the apostles Peter and John. This message is timeless as well as without context, as it is just as important now, maybe more than ever.  In the passages we see three different exhortations or “laws” for how we should love one another during our time of social isolation.
