Paul wrote with conviction, sincerity, and passion, but he also was straightforward and used words economically. Consider the honor to have been mentioned with such a positive tone in an open letter, for Paul was not one given to idle words. He obviously knew the heart of Apelles and saw the fruit of his service to Jesus.
