One Book, One Story

Genesis 1 tells how God created the heavens and the earth in six days. He brought light into darkness, formed the sky, land, and seas, created plants, the sun, moon, and stars, then filled the oceans and skies with living creatures and the land with animals. Finally, God created mankind in His image, male and female, giving them responsibility over creation. When God looked at everything He had made, He saw that it was very good.
