I expected more descriptive folding information.

What a rip-off

No pictures of any of the projects? Really, I'm astounded at this! The images of the folds in the basic instructions are too tiny to see.

This book has provided great fun for my family and me!

My son came home from school with an Origami frog he had made. He was so excited that I had to find a book about it so I could make some things with him. This book is perfect! The author begins by explaining what Origami is, what it is used for, and the tools and paper you will need. There are some additional tips about taking your time and using a clean work surface. Once you have read all of that, then comes the good part. The author shows you with pictures how to make the basic folds and then moves you on to more difficult folds. We have made a butterfly, crane and a horse. The instructions are easy to follow as well!

same old same old

I am an experienced folder, I checked this book out in Kindle unlimited, so it cost me nothing. I used this book on a kindle app, on a 14" laptop screen.

The book starts out with a couple of basic reasons why one would fold origami, and it is, but nothing that has not been written on dozens of basic how to web sites, nothing original.

Then there is a section basic folds, which I thought was really presented extremely well. With the exception of sinks are left out, But there is no explanation at all on origami diagramming standards. If i were a beginner, I would understand what the basic folds were, but I would not recognize them in a book that uses standard diagramming techniques.
