Not all of us are theologians, and not all of us have the time to become one. So, at OH Radio, we've put the challenge out there with this brand new series 'Make Me A Theologian', to the great Christian thinkers throughout history. We want to see whether they have what it takes to turn us from semi-ignoramuses into theologians.
We'll be working our way through some of their most famous pieces of literature to see how they have helped shape and uphold some of the most fundamental and central ideas of the Christian faith. Each week we will add another layer to our theological sandwich, and we think it will be delicious.
In this podcast, Week 1, we begin with the first two chapters of Orthodoxy by G.K. Chesterton. What is the trouble with self-belief? And why is orthodoxy important in this day and age? Why, indeed.
