I have heard it said that the worship of God is the heartbeat of the congregation. As humans we were designed and created to be worshippers and as Martin Luther said, “Next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise. The gift of language combined with the gift of song was given to man that he should proclaim the Word of God through music.” This week we are reminded of the central role that worship plays in uniting us in One Voice in the praise and honor of our God for all He has done and for all He has promised to do.
