For the worshipping community there is nothing more important than the Word of God. C.S. Lewis wrote, “It is Christ Himself, not the Bible, who is the true Word of God. The Bible, read in the right spirit and with guidance of good teachers, will bring us to Him.” The Word of God is our sure foundation, our one source of all truth and the very thing that makes us ONE. This week we are reminded of the central role of the Word of God in our lives as God’s people.
