The God of Heaven and earth is incomparable, and though entering into creation, the creation that is the work of His Hand, He is not to be compared for He cannot be compared to anything that is made. He is the One who has always been, the Alpha and Omega, who dwells in inexhaustible light, and though He has revealed Himself, we know Him only because He has stooped low to enter in to the time and space, in which we, His beloved creatures dwell. We must then cease in our efforts to use the stuff of earth to image the One is cannot be, but only by those words which He has given to us.
