Unless one is clear as to what one wants by addition to possessions or by ideas about God, spiritual practices, talks-one can not find ‘what is True’.
As one moves in life, one becomes aware that one is seeking complacency through possessions, relations, situations, ideas-including the idea of God.
It is a hit on the mind to know that what one is seeking is not available. Brain is sustained by ambiguity and uncertainty. One is now attuned to supreme relaxation, to all possibilities.
The feeling of friction-that things are okay (pleasure) and things are not okay (pain, uncertainty) is the sign of being alive.
Any striving for stable relief through possessions, relations, situations, ideas is exhausting, leads to decay. Stable relief means the momentum of ‘tension-relief’ will be over. The momentum of ‘tension-relief’ is life energy itself, is the self-sustained ground.
Can one see the arising of thoughts-‘things may not happen as ‘I’ wish’, ‘something untoward may happen’, ‘I’ may be cheated’ and so on? The uneasiness, these thoughts generate in the form of fear, insecurity can not be dealt with, escaped or undone. Clearly seeing this puts you on the self-sustained ground.
