Jacqueline Bartlam lived in a charming, detached 3 bedroom house in Nottinghamshire, England. She lived with her 2 sons Daniel and Dominic. On Easter Sunday of 2011, Jacqueline settled into bed to read her book, safe in the knowledge that her sons were asleep in their beds. As she was drifting off to sleep, she heard the familiar creak of someone stepping onto the uneven floorboard just outside of her bedroom. This case is about a man who was so obsessed with his high school algebra teacher, Mary, that he stalked her for years after he’d left school. He planned to abduct her, and make her fall in love with him. But on the day of the abduction, she had her 6 year old daughter with her. Ming didn’t care. He bundled them both into the car, at gunpoint, and forced Mary to drive.

Episode 120, Student abducts his schoolteacher

14 year old Sara had been walking home one evening, when she’d seemingly disappeared. Her family were extremely worried and immediately called the police to help try and find her. But the police had no luck, and Sara’s family were becoming more and more worried by the day, eventually convincing themselves that there was no way Sara could still be alive. If she’d disappeared, it was because she had come to some harm; some terrible fate; and they had no way of knowing exactly what had happened to her - or why.

Episode 119, He built a secret concrete bunker under his house

Richard Basson called police to report that he had accidentally stabbed his girlfriend Carrie in the face with a pool cue. He said that he’d been defending himself and she had lunged towards him and impaled herself on the pool cue.
But as soon as officers arrived at the scene, they could see straight away that Richard was lying. The forensic evidence would point to the truth… but Carrie’s injuries were so bad, that it was simply unbelievable to officers attending the scene that Richard would ever think he’d get away with this horrific, and possibly deadly attack.
