Josh Enlow might be the smartest guy in the room, when he is fixing your computer issues as the founder of Protech IT Support Services. But what makes Josh really interesting is how he gives back to the community by making sure the underrepresented middle and high school students in the community have training in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The training is free and is frequently connected and offered during summer camps, like Camp Destination Innovation.
Josh started ProTech in 2015 as a tech support startup in Wichita, KS. We all know that technology can be great, until it breaks and your business is at a stand-still. In these critical moments, businesses need competent technical support to respond to the situation. And that is where people like Josh step in, as a business person he understands the impact these outages can have on business. IT infrastructure for most small businesses isn’t perfect. All of that geek jargon, and the careful planning and execution associated with it, is a necessary evil that has to be handled by somebody, and Josh want to stand in that gap for your business. His philosophy isn’t just to twiddle our thumbs until something breaks, or to just fix problems and walk away. We provide the tools and education that empowers your business users, freeing up IT to innovate and focus on adding value to your business. Josh likes to say his purpose is two fold. First to help businesses fully leverage the opportunities available to them using a mix of modern technologies, and accelerating the impact across businesses in a strategic and prioritized way. But second his purpose is to give back with STEM training in the community. I think that is an interesting interview.
