Pastor Bill reminds us today that we were all born under sin. Because of the sins of Adam and Eve, we live in a world that is cursed. Adam paved the way for all of us to disobey God, and in our own power, we are hopeless. But Jesus stepped in and paved a new way – a way to redemption. Just as Adam is our forefather, and his sin has affected all of us, Jesus serves as the forefather of our faith. His righteous deeds have offered us all a way to be reconciled to God. But we have to choose to receive this gift.
