This week, we are continuing our series on daily and weekly habits. Today's message is based on Acts 2:42-47. We were made to eat, so the table must be our center of gravity. The habit of making time for one communal meal each day forces us to reorient our schedules and our space around food and each other. The more the table becomes our center of gravity, the more it draws our neighbors into the Gospel community.
Ways to start:
1. Pick a meal to enjoy with family or friends every day, could be breakfast.
2. Have a coworker lunch when you get out of shelter in place.
3. Eat communally while alone. Call someone during a meal. Eat in a public place (when the quarantine is over) in a way that invites conversation, no phone.
4. Create a space, maybe a candle.
5. Have prayers, take turns with regular questions. One Conversation Rule.
6. Eat outside on your front porch to invite conversation with neighbors.
