If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar; for whoever does not love a brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.” 1 John 4:20
Reflection:
Hate divides us from the love of God and neighbor. At the best of times, unity is seldom easy, especially when we place love of self before love of God.
Just like the early Christians, we too struggle with love and hate; with unity and division. However, as long as we remember to place God’s love before ours, unity will always have a chance.
Today’s Intention: O Jesus, may the Holy Spirit helps us to seek unity by loving God and neighbor before ourselves.
