"I will establish peace in the land, and you will lie down to rest with no one to cause you anxiety" (Lv 26:6)

Reflection

When we look at our nation's political environment, it is hard to imagine how unity can come when peace seems out of our reach. We feel that we have lost control. Thus we are overcome by anxiety.

However, as discouraging as the situation may look, we must continue to climb the mountain top with God's help.

Today's Intention: O Lord, we ask that you give us rest from our anxiety and strength of peace and unity through Your power.
