To tolerate literally means to not agree with something yet allow it without interference. People think I have an everlasting optimism because I love and accept everyone. I do accept a lot of people, however I tolerate far more opinions than I agree with. Now there are some things that we should not tolerate (slavery, women not being equals to name a few) that we have corrected. Most things that bother you shouldn't, so tolerate, its the American Way!
