Today’s One Minute Wonder is the dedication by C. S. Lewis of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, to his Goddaughter, Lucy.
I hope you’ll find his words as moving as I did when my daughter shared them with me recently, after curling up with the classic which has been endlessly adapted for the big and small screen over the years.
In the newsletter this week, I'll share a few pics of the Oxford that C. S. Lewis loved–recalling the "the fabled cluster of spires and towers"–which inspired his writing of The Chronicles of Narnia.
Will and I were married in Oxford and lived there for a while. Have you signed up to Weekend Wonderfully yet? You can get it sent straight to your inbox here!
Here’s to the stories we could never outgrow. And the one that never loses its wonder.
