ONE NIGHT WITH THE GROOM by Sara Daniel is a quick, sensual read that blends romance and heartbreak into a very enjoyable read. It is the third book in Danielâs One Night With The Bridal Party series. For optimum enjoyment, I would recommend reading the series in order as there are interconnected characters. However, each can be enjoyed as a standalone if that is what you prefer.
The characters shined. Luciana Cortez, our heroine, is a Hispanic whose days have evolved into a trudging ritual of survival. She has been tasked with taking care of her ill, elderly mother and the farm that was her fatherâs love and joy. Unfortunately, her father passed on after a tragic accident and monies are beyond scarce. Her brother, a Marine who means well, has a gambling streak that is not appreciated by Luciana. The story opens as Lucianaâs mother is in the hospital and monies that Luciana had saved to pay towards their farmâs mortgage and her motherâs medical bills are missing. Luciana discovers that her brother has used the monies to buy Luciana a one night stand with Madame Eveâs elite, highly recommended, matchmaking service in the hope that Luciana would secure a lasting relationship with a man who would buy the family out of their money troubles.

After being jilted by his fiancée a short while ago, Rob has a one night stand with Madame Eveâs service in his future also. While scouting out a future business location, he is dropped off at Lucianaâs ranch by the limousine that he had hired to take him elsewhere. Blake recognizes the ranch. He was chased from it years ago at the end of a gun barrel by Lucianaâs father who had not approved of him because he wasnât Hispanic nor of the right religion.
