We catch up with Paul O’Callaghan, CEO of Caritas Australia, and discuss the current and very severe drought and famine in East Africa, the likes of which has not occurred on this scale or severity since Ethiopia in 1984. Paul, who recently came back from a visit to Kenya, shares some of his first hand experience as well as giving us directions for how we might do our part in helping in this hunger crisis.
