One Of The Worst Liars You_ll Ever See - JCS INSPIRED

Listen Later

A suspect sits across from the detective. His leg bounces. His eyes dart. He has been awake for thirty hours. He has not eaten. He has not slept. He has been rehearsing his story in his head for days. The detective asks a simple question. Where were you last Tuesday? The suspect's answer is too detailed. He has an alibi for every minute. He has a receipt for lunch. He has a witness who will swear he was at work. The detective did not ask for any of it. The suspect offered it anyway. He is lying.

In this JCS-inspired psychological breakdown, I analyze the interrogation of one of the worst liars ever caught on tape. The suspect had been accused of murdering his business partner. He had a history of violence. He had threatened the victim before. He had an alibi that did not hold up. The detective played a recording of a witness describing the suspect's car at the scene. The suspect's story changed. First he was at work. Then he was at home. Then he was driving around. He could not keep his lies straight.

The interrogation lasted four hours. The suspect maintained his innocence for three of them. Then the detective mentioned a detail that had never been released to the public. The suspect's face went pale. He asked for a glass of water. The confession was coming. It came slowly, in fragments, between long silences. He did not confess because he felt guilty. He confessed because the evidence had closed every escape route.

Turn down the lights, put on your headphones, and press play because this is one of the worst liars you will ever see. And his lies are his own worst enemy.
