Being the strong and determined woman that she is, Nicole completed her schooling and graduated while raising a young child. Along with her son Cormac, the two became season two contestants on The Amazing Race Canada TV reality show, where the mother and son captured the hearts of fans across the country and the world.

Even though they did not win the grand prize, they won people's hearts worldwide with their Never Give Up spirit, demonstrating grit and determination to finish what they started.
