We are back after a long hiatus that we will reinitiate right after this episode. We take one part Cthulhu and one part Scooby Doo to create a frankensteined homebrew rule for a collaborative episode with Crash Course DM. Daniel gets interrupted while Daniel checks the recording. Writing the description for this episode has made me realize that it would be pretty irresponsible to just falsely claim that your show has a celebrity feature in the title. We close it all out making a final fantasy boss fight, and that’s okay because none of those words are proper nouns. It’s the final episode for this show’s current format; what happens next is still up in the air, but we hope you enjoyed the journey (or at least some portion of it). Daniel secures some sponsorships, while Daniel eats burgers.

This episode: we do some RAMBLING, followed by some GAMBLING. We try to make a casino zone preamble to the final boss. Daniel trims a palm tree, while Daniel talks about leaf matchups.

In our arguably most anxiety-inducing episode yet, we are terrified to commit to anything but do end up with a pretty neat little pre-finale dramatic combat encounter. And yes, we also get introspective. Daniel explains a musical, while Daniel buys a hot dog in character.

Just in time for the holiday season, we throw together an underground snow biome to house the 7th and final emerald. Daniel vamps while Daniel looks up Sonic-related images.

We design a weird sort of psychological thriller quest about a lonely trickster demigod and otherwise do not go off the rails at all. Just solid, non-stop game design the whole time. Daniel tries some new sounds, while Daniel mentions geographical locations.

Our inspiration today comes from the feeling of disappointment you get when you go to a convention, among other things. Our Lightning Emerald is also in there somewhere. Daniel does an acronym, while Daniel joins the console war.
