Arun was a lazy boy. Every day, he would say, “I will do my work tomorrow.”
One day, his teacher came and gave him a small plant. She asked him to plant it at his house and take care of it.
Arun planted the sapling, but he didn’t water it regularly. Days passed, and the plant slowly dried up and died.
After a few days, the teacher visited Arun’s house and saw the dead plant. She showed it to Arun and said,
“This is exactly how your life will become if you keep postponing your work. Just like this plant needed daily care, your future also needs daily effort.”
Arun realized his mistake and decided to change himself.
This short story teaches an important life lesson about avoiding laziness and procrastination. Small daily efforts lead to growth and success, while neglect and delay can destroy our future—just like an uncared plant.
