Shadrack was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended UNM for 1 year followed by 4 years at the University of Oregon.  He most recently finished 3rd at the 2018 Boston Marathon, 4th at the 2017 Boston Marathon, 5th at the 2016 New York Marathon & 7th at the 2016 US Olympic Marathon Trials.
