In this time of isolation more and more people are turning to video conferencing platforms like FaceTime, House Party, Skype and Zoom. There is something about even just seeing someone’s face that seems to draw them closer.

In the Old Testament the word that means “Presence” as in “The Presence of God,” was literally the word for ‘face’. Since they didn’t have video conferencing facilities, they understood that if you could see someone’s face, you were in their presence, so the word was the same.
