She works clinically as the Head of Nutrition Science for Well Founded Health. Alongside her research and nutrition work, Federica has written two books, Recipes for a Better Menopause and her new book Every Body Should Know This. Dr Fede’s approach focuses on improving overall dietary quality following the principles of evidence-based, personalised nutrition science for health and disease prevention throughout the lifecourse. Dr Federica Amati holds a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research from Imperial College London, has a masters in Public Health and is an Association for Nutrition (AfN) accredited Nutritionist.She is the Nutrition Topic Lead at Imperial College London School of Medicine, and has led research teams for the NIHR ARC and the WHO Collaborating Centre. She is a non-exec Assistant Director at the NNedProGlobal Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health, an award-winning interdisciplinary think-tank.
