Our wild places are a drawcard for locals and visitors alike,  but at the same time the number of species under threat is increasing.

How do we stop the tide of species decline before they become critically endangered, or even worse, extinct?

It's not as well known as many other species but the plight of the endemic Forty-spotted pardalote is an alarming case study.
