This One to One with Elspeth has turned into a compelling love story. Manjit tells Elspeth the extraordinary way she, a Sikh, met and married Shariff, a Muslim. Then, at a very low point in her husband’s professional life, they individually and separately became Christians and found that God was working miracles in their life.

Manjit could probably have entertained us with much more of her life, but Elspeth guided her to fast-track to her husband’s illness. Shariff’s illness was diagnosed and treated but sadly he was prematurely discharged despite an infection that led to a rapid deterioration leading to his painful death. Manjit is still in pain at his death, but her relationship with Jesus is strong.
