In “One to One” this week, Elspeth meets Sue Sutton who has spent most of her career teaching people with learning disabilities, and she just loves it! Together they unpack the various conditions which are not learning disabilities, e.g. Dementia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, just to mention two of them. As she shares her experiences, we gain a deeper understanding of the people, both children and adults, who used to be put in asylums, then hospitals, unjustly cut out of normal life.
