Now, at one time, we could only mention cancer as the “C word”, and maybe dementia, the “D word” is taking its place. But Val Foley and Vicky Ashby talk of the excellent and individual care that takes place in this purpose-built home of 63 rooms. “It’s like a hotel!” Val explains. Elspeth learns that dementia is just an umbrella term for many different conditions. After what these two told her, she might want to book her own place there for ‘x’ years ahead. It’s encouraging listening.
