The story follows Johnny, a young man (Roddy McDowall) on the run after being involved in a botched robbery that left a man dead. The job was supposed to be clean and simple — a payroll snatch, in and out — but someone panicked, a shot was fired, and now Johnny’s face is plastered across the city on police bulletins.
