In this episode, we mark the official one year anniversary of the podcast. We look back on the year and discuss the exciting new adventures that await us in year two.
JT received a fun gift for Christmas last year, a new game called Shit Happens by Goliath Games. What began as a Kickstarter is now a full-fledged card game with multiple expansions, including the Full of Shit, Too Shitty for Work, and Fifty Shades of Shit editions. The game is a crowd pleaser with a simple concept. Each card describes a shitty event and assigns a numeric value of shittiness from 0.1 to 99.9. Guess how shitty the card is and you win the card. It’s a lot of fun with the right group of people, but be warned it’s not safe for work or little ones. Myron and JT give it 4 strips of bacon, but Anna assigns a 3 due to concerns about replayability.
In addition to playing Shit Happens, Myron spent a lot of time watching E3 events and spent some money to get in early on Stadia. Everyone seems to agree that Keanu stole the show and is equally loved by men and women. E3 provided a lot of exciting sneak peeks, including Cyberpunk 2077 which continues to impress and Borderlands 3 which is looking like a contender for GOTY.
