Gifts and anointing do not make you ready for a platform. That is the ground-level truth OC opens with as T.S.P marks one year of fellowship.

The teaching traces the nine-year journey that preceded the founding of Sonship Place, beginning with the critical distinction between reading the Bible and knowing the Word. The Word is a person, and that person is Christ. From there, OC examines how gifting without character produces ministry that centres self rather than Son, and how presenting oneself in worship, as Romans 12:1-2 frames it, is not presenting what you desire but the totality of who you are, so that an exchange takes place. Your image for his image. Your will for his will. The testimony turns on a moment of divine confrontation: did you ask me, or did you tell me what you were going to do and ask me to bless it? Stepping down from a pastorate not for wrongdoing but for being something wrong before the time God had appointed becomes the hinge of the whole anniversary reflection.
