Psalms 14:1 says, “The fool hath said in his heart, 'There is no God.' They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”

I remember once talking to a couple whose home I was selling. They were both professors at a major university, and very proud of their educations. The subject of God came up, and they actually laughed at the concept of God. They said that a person had to be uneducated to believe in fairy tales. I remember fearing for them.

I pictured Judgment Day when they are standing before a Holy, Omnipotent, All Powerful, Almighty God. How foolish they will feel and how terrified they will be as their words are played back for them.
