Well this was an interesting situation. Halfway through this conversation I realized that we were just two white guys talking about Native Americans. Regardless of our well intended opinions we really couldn't speak about this without some balance. Kendra volunteered to speak on the subject briefly with me and I am so glad that she did. I have but better context for understanding her culture and both her and Aaron have opened my eyes to the way that Native American's revere nature. I will likely sing to a river and pat a tree the next time I am on a trail.
