For our 106th OFR, we welcome Chicago DJ, Mark Angel. Mark is part of the Noisefloor Chicago crew who just celebrated their one year anniversary with special guest Mike Dearborn. Huge thanks to Mark for providing an hour of driving techno for the series.

Very few would dispute Mark Angel as being one of the more prominent and exciting figures to emerge from Chicago in recent years.An accomplished producer, in-demand remixer and versatile international performer, he is fast transitioning from Chicagos’ best-kept secret to one of Technos' up-coming leading lights, on a par with genre-defying luminaries such as the Advent, Drumcell, Mattias Fridell, Audio Injection/Truncate & Robert Hood.

Despite enjoying worldwide notoriety through his signature style production and on deck live performances, Mark hasn’t forgotten his hard-line influenced home grown roots of Chicago. Co-founding FORMAT RECORDINGS (FORMAT-REC) in 2012, the label has already jumped into the ranks of forward pushing imprints showcasing international & local talents such as, Ricardo Garduno, Komprezzor, Jeff Derringer, Submerge, Hyperactive and many more. All in a move to further raising the profile of Chicagos' Techno scene in North America and abroad.
