Only God could tear apart the curtain of the temple and welcome us into perfect relationship.

Self-effort can't really reach what we need. Our self-effort couldn’t nudge the stone. This Easter we get to the heart of it, recognizing where we still rely on self-effort and where that thinking tends to get in the way. Let's lay aside our self-sufficient effort. Let's see the cross and resurrection, and trust what only God can do in deeper ways.
