Welcome to the Only Good Vibes New Network with Whistle Monster and J. On today’s show, Whistle Monster and J recap Jazz Fest from the Food to the performances. Also, Whistle and J talk to VETJAMS about their work with the New Orleans Veterans community. VET JAMS was started to promote music and mental health in the community.  We believe that bringing together veterans and friends of veterans to enjoy music together will help prevent veteran suicide and create outlets for connection.

VET JAMS is open to veterans and friends of veterans.  If you play an instrument and want to be a part of the jams email Jason at [email protected].  If you don’t play an instrument tell your friends and family about VET JAMS and maybe even bring a veteran to a show!  There are lots of ways to help the healing and create community, be a part of it!

We also encourage all veterans to seek counseling regardless of branch or experience.  We all need help from time to time and getting help by trained professionals is a help we can all use.  VET JAMS encourages you to reach out to your local vet center where free mental health is available to all veterans; active and separated military members.
