In this last part of this very short letter to Philemon we see that Paul's appeal to show forgiveness is rooted in three things: God's love, God's sovereign actions and the grace each Christian has been given in Jesus. Forgiveness will always be hard from an earthly point of view, but it will always be possible with God.
