The Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Planetarium has served as the number 1 facility for space education in Orlando North and Central Florida for more than 25 years. Located at Seminole State College in Sanford, the planetarium offers interactive shows and full-dome video presentations that are second to none. As the Director of the Emil Buehler Planetarium, Derek Detemer is responsible for creating an out of this world experiences for visitors and continuing to educate the community about galaxies far, far away. Join us as we geek out with Derek about astronomy and what lies beyond our planet.

The Planetarium has currently postponed its indoor planetarium programs until February 2022, but will host two outdoor events in the meantime, as well as offer virtual streams.

The 44th Annual Central Florida Scottish Highland Games are back! The games will be taking place this weekend January 15-16, 2022 at Central Winds Park iin Winter Springs, FL. Today we sit down with Allen Mitchell, the Director or Spectator Communications for AirDotShow, to talk about what guests can expect when they visit the Air Show, as well as how he got involved in the flying world. Tune in to hear about what it’s like experiencing 9Gs, what it takes to be an air show pilot, and how the operations happen behind the scenes to create an epic show in the sky.

The AirDotShow is a traveling show that takes you in the cockpit, behind the scenes, and around the world to experience the inspiration of flight. Miss Seminole County Scholarship Program & Foundation is a volunteer organization that recognizes the intellect and power of young women and is an official preliminary to the Miss Florida and Miss America Competitions.

Today we talk updates to the competition with the Executive Director of The inaugural Miss Seminole County Scholarship Competition, Amanda Babcock. The program has been rescheduled to take place on Sunday, November 7 2021 at 3pm.
The competition will be held in the historical and beautiful, Ritz Theater at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center in downtown Sanford, Florida.

Four titles will be awarded:
Miss Seminole County
Miss Seminole County's Outstanding Teen
Miss Wekiva Springs
Miss Wekiva Springs' Outstanding Teen

Each titleholder recipient will be awarded a $1000 college scholarship to Advent Health University and will represent our community with one complete year of service to Seminole County.
