Ontario keeps controversial Reagan ad, will pause after World Series weekend

Ontario Premier Doug Ford confirmed that the province will temporarily halt its $54 million anti-tariff ad campaign featuring Ronald Reagan after this weekend’s World Series games between the Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers. The decision comes in response to President Trump’s abrupt suspension of U.S.-Canada trade talks, which he attributed to the ad’s portrayal of Reagan’s 1987 anti-tariff speech
