Deep water can be scary. Especially when you can’t swim well. Add into that crashing waves and wind… the fear ramps up. Imagine you are Peter for a minute. Standing at the edge of the boat and stepping on the water. Would you doubt? You would probably doubt yourself more than anything else. You are walking on water. That should’t be happening. It isn’t possible. Jesus is there though to take your hand. To hold you. Jesus changes everything. He is like that.
