An hour-long solo episode? Didn’t think I still had that in the tank tbh. The structure for this week’s episode is slightly different. I divided it into two sections: The Deep Dive(s) and The Quick Hits. For the first section, I make my case for why the hate for Drake’s surprise new album is unjustified (3:12) and break down this year’s XXL Freshmen list (23:22). For the second section, I briefly touch on Lizzo getting backlash (47:53), Jhene Aiko & Big Sean’s upcoming baby (49:56), Steph Curry winning his fourth ring (50:45) and Joey Bada$$ lying once again (52:14).
