Sony's Madame Web has a new rumor today from Jeff Sneider. Apparently they were going to use Spiderman and it was going to be Andrew Garfield, then decided it would be Tom Holland and then scrapped it completely. However in doing so they had to re-edit the movie when realizing their time periods didn't match.
