Back to our roots this week as it's a Woody and Ian the (former) Intern duo pod, all about jobs. With both Ian and Woody in similar places in life - recent college grads, wandering about in the job market like two chickens with their heads cut off - the two discuss the joys of what it feels like today, in modern times, to be going through the process of trying to find a job. They talk advice, and how most of it is terrible, what they're looking for in a job or a career in 2020, the hiring process vs the training process, financial independence, and a bunch of other stuff as they try to process the dance of trying to convince someone to hire you. Hopefully you find something relatable if you're in a job hunt yourself, or thinking about going out and finding a new job soon. And if you're someone who tends to feel like they give out a lot of advice, especially on this topic, maybe there's some insight into how to be better at that going forward.
